Purchasing a New Vehicle?
In order to figure out the best price, you will need know what the invoice is for the vehicle that you are purchasing. There are a few places to find out what the invoice is:
Fighting Chance: This website has a small fee but will give you the most accurate Invoice price possible. (It is completely worth the small fee. You will save thousands of dollars)
Edmunds: You can go to Edmunds.com and get a similar Invoice for the vehicle you want. ( It might not be as accurate but it will get you close.) |
Now keep in mind that there are certain advertising fees that range from 3-5% of the MSRP which are part of the invoice and neither Fighting Chance nor Edmunds.com will give you because they vary from market to market. This fee will be on the actual Invoice, which you can obtain once your at the Dealership.
Now all you have to do is a little bit of research by making some phone calls. See what your local Dealerships are doing as far as Invoice goes on the particular vehicle that you are looking to buy. |
| Dealership: Now most Dealerships will give you the Invoice Price. A good way to get it before visiting the Dealership is to go through some of the websites like Cars.com, InvoiceDealers, MyRide.com and Carsdirect. Request a quote from your local Dealerships. Once you are contacted by an Internet Salesperson, ask him or her to give you the Invoice Price. ( If they don’t want to give it to you, then go elsewhere.) |
